Optima Energy SA is primarily focused on physical oil trading. The company’s traders are in constant touch with rapidly moving oil markets across the world. They trade crude oil as well as oil products ranging from LPG, naphtha and gasoline to middle distillates, fuel oil and bitumen. The company also deals in more specialized niche markets such as base oils.
Optima Energy SA is also expert in managing price risks and volatility. Using sophisticated hedging techniques the company protects the exposure of both the Group and our partners by the use of futures, quoted on the international commodity exchanges and derivatives such as swaps and options.
